A dark silver silhouette weaved her way through the one area beside the creek which seemed to be lacking the most in thorn bushes. The sun that was slowly rising into the sky, promising for more warmth after sunhigh. Stormfrost shivered and let out a soundless hiss as a single thorn pierced through the fur of her flank,
and she swiftly strode on until the bushes cleared and a small river unfolded in front of her. She settled on a rock just big enough to fit her small body, her pale green eyes fixed intently on the stream flow. She had supposedly left the camp to hunt, although her paws had carried her to the quietest region of the territory instead. She watched as a tiny fish swam swiftly by, sending her thoughts flying back to the last time she had tried fishing. It must have been before completing her apprenticeship. For the one thing she could remember vividly was how much she hated getting her paws wet. With a sigh, she rose one forepaw from the smooth surface of the rock, ready to grab the next unfortunate creature that chose to swim by. She waited frozen in the same position for a while that felt more like eternity, struggling to remain concentrated as twigs and leaves seemed to be the only things the creek was sending her way. With another angry hiss, she realised her blue reflection on the surface of the water must have scared away any and all fish that were nearby. Had she even been trained at all? She turned back with a sigh, ready to wander around the forest for a while longer before returning to camp empty-pawed. She hadn't yet lifted a paw, when the sound of footsteps reached her ears. She stood frozen, her tail twitching behind her. She could simply ask who was there, although instead she decided to attempt to sniff the newcomer out. With a jolt she realised the wind was blowing the wrong way, and she instantly flattened her entire body against the rock. She weren't sure she was ready to be discovered just yet.
